MAROUANE FELLAINI'S agent is set to meet with AC Milan this week to see if a deal can be done to take the player to Italy.

Manchester United to enter talks with Milan over £19m midfielder
Fellaini could find himself playing at the San Siro before the end of the January window

The Belgian joined from for £27.5million in 2013 but has struggled to make the same impact as he did on Merseyside.
And with United struggling to mount a serious title challenge and having crashed out of the Champions League at the group stage, Fellaini has been a popular Old Trafford scapegoat.
The 28-year-old has started only 11 games across four competitions so far this season and has often been thrown on as a striker in Louis van Gaal's desperation.

And now Italian outlet Calciomercato are reporting that agent Luciano D'Onofrio will this week meet Milan's joint-CEO Adriano Galliani to explore whether a move to the San Siro has legs.
Milan are said to prefer a loan move for Fellaini in order to provide themselves with some insurance but United would rather sell the player outright or not allow him to leave at all.

But with United valuing Fellaini at nearly £20m Milan are unwilling to pay the asking price on a player who has featured so little in the first team this season.
However, if talks between player and prospective club go well then Fellaini may try to force a permanent move and United will have no wish to keep an unhappy player in an already-unsettled dressing room.
