MANCHESTER UNITED will offer Felipe Anderson a whopping £100,000 pay rise to sign in January, according to reports.
United are understood to be well underway with talks with Lazio concerning a deal for the Brazil international.
The Sun claim representatives from the club travelled to Italy this week to put pen to paper on a £35million move.
And it's claimed the mega deal is being offered in order to lure the attacking midfielder in January, rather than holding out until the summer.
United are in desperate need of an attacking boost this season following Louis van Gaal's striker clear-out last term.
The loss of Javier Hernandez and Robin van Persie has been criticised and even Van Gaal has since admitted he may have got it wrong.
"Maybe you are be right but that you cannot see in advance. The problem [lack of goals] can be solved with money but also on the training pitch," he said.
