Manchester United agree deal for Italian wonderkid

MANCHESTER UNITED are on the verge of signing Italian teenager Luca Ercolani.

 

Louis van Gaal and Manchester United are bringing in several young players

 

The 16-year-old defender was tipped to move to United in the summer after being spotted by the man who brought Giuseppe Rossi and Federico Macheda to Old Trafford.

United have been linked with a host of young players recently and appear to be making an effort to bolster the quality in their youth ranks.

 

According to Italian website SportinRomagna, Ercolani - who plays for Serie D side Forli - is expected to be a United player in the next few hours.

It is claimed the deal is set to be worth around £55,000.

Ercolani has had trials with United's youth teams in recent months.

And on his personal Instagram account, the youngster has posted several pictures of himself in Manchester wearing United training gear and a club suit.
