AC Milan have ruled out the sale of 16-year-old goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, who has been linked with a £30million move to Manchester United this month.
"He is and he will remain Milan’s goalkeeper," Milan's CEO Adriano Galliani said in response to United's interest.
"We’ve not received any offers for him and if any were to come in, we would turn them down anyway."
Meanwhile, the Manchester Evening News claim United are close to competing the signing of 16-year-old centre-back Luca Ercolani on a permanent deal.
The Italian has been on trail at Old Trafford from Serie D side Forli over the last few months and has seemingly impressed the club enough to earn a contract.
And finally, the Red Devils have reportedly entered the battle to sign Japan international Yoshinori Muto, just six months into his spell at Mainz.
The 23-year-old revealed in the summer that he turned down a move to Premier League champions Chelsea, who are still keen on his services.
United will have to spend at least £15m to land the striker as Louis van Gaal looks to improve his front line before the January window closes.
