Man Utd News: £35m Anderson deal close, Giggs slams trio, Man City's shock move
Manchester United are hoping to strike a deal for Felipe Anderson

Manchester United have reportedly opened negotiations over a move for Felipe Anderson.
The Lazio ace was tracked by Louis van Gaal in the summer.
Van Gaal is keen to inject some pace into his attack, and according to The Sun, United are closing in on a £35million deal for the 22-year-old.
The report suggests a deal is likely and could be completed as soon as next week.

Ryan Giggs apparently tore into Wayne Rooney, Anthony Martial and Juan Mata over their form.
That is according to former Arsenal star turned Sky Sports pundit Charlie Nicholas.
United turned in a much improved display on Monday as they picked up a point after a goalless draw at home to Chelsea.
And Nicholas reckons riling Rooney, Martial and Mata had the desired effect.

Man Utd News: £35m Anderson deal close, Giggs slams trio, Man City's shock move
Ander Herrera appears to be out of favour at Manchester United

"I think he's gone to the attack-minded players and said 'Come on, it's time you guys started delivering," Nicholas told Sky Sports.
"The defence has been doing okay but we need you to start performing - Rooney, Martial and Mata we need more from you', and that may be marked the improvement on Monday."
Manchester City are considering a shock move for Ander Herrera, according to reports.

Herrera has struggled to hold down a first team spot this term and is thought to have had a talk with Van Gaal over his future.
But according to Spanish publication Don Balon, City will make a move for Herrera should Pep Guardiola take over the reins at the Etihad.
Valencia the report claims, are also keen on a move for Herrera.
