Manchester United could be lining up a move for Saul Niguez from Atletico Madrid

 

Manchester United are weighing up a £15million offer for Atletico Madrid midfielder Saul Niguez. 

Reports in Spain suggest the Red Devils are chasing the 21-year-old Spaniard, with a move possible in January or the summer.

Niguez started his youth career at Real Madrid, before moving across the city in 2008, and he's played for every one of Spain's youth teams since the under-16s.

Adnan Januzaj is back at the club but his future remains uncertain at Old Trafford.

Borussia Dortmund coach Thomas Tuchel said he was disappointed to see the Belgian international leave Germany.

Louis van Gaal was unhappy that Januzaj joined Dortmund on loan back in the summer but the Dutch boss has revealed he will give him another opportunity at United.

 

The appointment of Zinedine Zidane as Real Madrid boss has heightened transfer speculation surrounding the futures of star players at the Bernabeu.

Gareth Bale continues to be linked with a move back to the Premier League, with United his most likely destination - if the Welshman considers a move back to the Premier League.

One United legend, who's been linked with an Old Trafford return, is Cristiano Ronaldo but Zidane swiftly ruled out the Portugese star leaving the Spanish club.

 

United are close to moving for Wolfsburg left-back, Ricardo Rodriguez, with Bild Sport reporting that a £30m bid has been made.

The 23-year-old Swiss defender has been a target for clubs across Europe, especially since his performances at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

Real could rival United for Rodriguez's signature and that's not the only player the two clubs are reportedly chasing.

The Daily Mail report that John Stones, targeted by Chelsea and United, is attracting interest from Spain, with Real and Barcelona keeping tabs on the England man.

Roberto Martinez has denied that Everton have already agreed a deal to sell Stones in the summer but he remains a target for Europe's biggest clubs.
