Bogdan: Another game and another howler from Bogdan. Gifted Exeter the lead before half-time when he failed to deal with a corner - 4
Randall: The young defender didn't put a foot wrong all night and will learn this appearance - 6
Enrique: The Spaniard doesn't have a future at Liverpool but did well enough in his first appearance for several months - 6
 
Smith: Probably Liverpool's most impressive player on a difficult night for Liverpool. Took his goal well - 7
Ilori: Brought back from his failed loan at Aston Villa due to the injury crisis at Anfield and was his inexperience was clear to see - 5
Brannagan: Is highly thought of at Anfield and did well to help the defence on a difficult pitch - 6
Stewart: A solid display by the 22-year-old and justified Klopp's faith - 6
 
Kent: Was lively and showed decent skill down the right hand side - 6
Teixeira: One of more technically gifted players on show and was hustled hard by an industrious Exeter midfield - 5
Sinclair: His future is in doubt but the youngster would have impressed Klopp with his well taken goal - 6
Benteke: Named captain by Klopp but this was another poor performance by the £32.5m striker. Had a header well saved in the second half but was anonymous for much of the game - 4
