LIVERPOOL are in talks with Aston Villa over the potential return of centre-back Tiago Ilori.

Ilori, 22, moved to Villa on a season-long loan, but has failed to feature for the Premier League’s bottom club.
Liverpool are not able to recall Ilori, but Villa want to cancel the agreement because new manager Remi Garde does not believe he will play.
Villa paid a £1m fee to sign Ilori on deadline day in August with an option for a £6m permanent deal.
The return of the Portugal U21 international would come with Liverpool’s defensive resources stretched by injuries to Dejan Lovren, Mamadou Sakho and Martin Skrtel.
Manager Jurgen Klopp has suggested he will scour the transfer market for potential reinforcements and it remains to be seen whether the inexperienced Ilori would be viewed as being able to fill the void.
Ilori was signed in the summer of 2013 from Sporting Lisbon but has spent his time on loan at Granada, Bordeaux and now Villa.
