VALVE are rumoured to be finally working on Left 4 Dead 3 after apparently pushing back Half-Life 3.

Rumours claim that Valve are working on Left 4 Dead 3
 
It is believed that the zombie shooter will be a prequel featuring four new characters consisting of the usual three males and one female.
Reports also claim that there will be six separate campaigns to choose from, including No Mercy, Cliff-Hanger, Early Destination, Crashland, Impasse and Inquisitor Land.

It's been six years since Left 4 Dead 2 was released
 
Valve are apparently able to focus all their attention on a new Left 4 Dead title after putting Half-Life 3 on ice, but the company is yet to comment on the speculation.
There also appears to be no knowledge of when Left 4 Dead 3 would come out, with the last in the series released back in 2009.

It is claimed that Valve have stopped working on Half-Life 3 in order to create Left 4 Dead 3
 
However, there is strong support for a new game, with Left 4 Dead 2 currently holding an aggregate 10/10 rating on Valve’s online gaming service Steam.
But anyone hoping for a new Half-Life title will probably be waiting a while if these latest rumours turn out to be true.
