JOHN TERRY has warned his Chelsea team-mates to stop letting leads slip.
The Blues have scored more first goals (9) at home than any other side in the Premier League but have only managed to convert that into 15 points.
On Wednesday they saw a 2-1 lead against West Brom snatched away in the dying minutes.
And Terry, still looking for a top four spot despite sitting in 14th, insists they can’t keep leaking late goals.
With Spurs beating Sunderland Chelsea are now 15 points behind the Champions League places.
“Now it’s about digging in and making sure we don’t let any more leads go because it’s looking more difficult for us to make a push for the top four after dropping those points,” Terry said in today’s match day programme.
“It’s tough to take when you let in a late equaliser, but we have to put that result behind us and move forward.”
