CHELSEA captain John Terry has sent a farewell message to Ramires following his move to Chinese club Jiangsu Suning.
The Brazilian completed a permanent move to the cash-rich Super League earlier today, costing a reported £25million.
And Terry was disappointed to see the 28-year-old leave after his successful five-and-a-half year stay at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues veteran posted: "Very sad to see @rami7oficial leave the club. Great player and a great man. Good luck mate."
Ramires joined Chelsea in 2010 from Benfica and scored 34 goals in 251 appearances, winning the Premier League, FA Cup, League Cup, Champions League and Europa League in the process.
But the versatile midfielder struggled for game time this season as the Blues endured a torrid title defence, starting just seven league games this term.
A Chelsea statement read: "We thank him for his service and wish him well in China, where he will be coached by another former Blue, Dan Petrescu."
