GUUS HIDDINK believes Pep Guardiola would improve the Premier League if he were to come to England as a manager.

The Spaniard has confirmed that he will be stepping down as Bayern Munich boss at the end of the season but is yet to announce his plans for next season.
However, the ex-Barcelona midfielder has said that he wants to manage in the Premier League, which Hiddink believes is good for the English game.
"Pep Guardiola has gathered a lot of experience and has had a lot of impact in the last seasons and I know him from his time as a player in Spain," Hiddink said.

"I know him as a coach of the second team and I met him once or twice.
"The way he played was a way that many managers liked and he has transferred that very well into his coaching ability.
"With this attitude for modern beautiful football coaches are adding to the game, why not?"

Guus Hiddink: Why Pep Guardiola should come to the Premier League
Pep Guardiola has been linked with moves to Man United, Man City and Chelsea next summer

Hiddink's own job as Chelsea boss is one that has been suggested as Guardiola's next post, although the current incumbent appears to have no plans to stand in his way and intends to keep his interim role to exactly that: the interim.
Guardiola's most likely destination at the moment seems to be Manchester City, where former Barcelona colleagues Ferran Soriano and Txiki Begiristain are CEO and director of football respectively.
But Hiddink also believes there are a number of Englishmen who should be considered for the country's top jobs while conceding that a man of Guardiola's talents is hard to resist.

"But also when I have experience of some young English managers they are doing well and have to be considered," Hiddink added.
"Nevertheless when extra quality can be added it is welcome."
