GUUS HIDDINK has revealed that Diego Costa and Oscar clashed like 'two bulls' during a training ground bust-up at Chelsea.
Reports emerged yesterday that the two players had clashed during a training session ahead of the Premier League champion's FA Cup clash with Scunthorpe.
But the Dutch manager revealed that no disciplinary action would be taken against either player after they squared up to each other at Chelsea's Cobham training ground.
"They were like bulls who were chesting a bit after a charge from behind by Oscar," said Hiddink.
"Diego took a charge from behind from the smaller of the two bulls which was Oscar.
"He got Diego and they stumbled over the ground and then they chested a bit.
"We came between them but there was no need, and I don’t like it when they hit.
"It’s normal - well it’s not normal but it happens when you play high intensity session.
"Sometimes we go over the edge when there’s good emotion and good intensity.
"Our photographer must have had a day off because he could have got some beautiful shots of the two bulls."
But Hiddink also revealed that the players were laughing about the incident and that Oscar made a speech at the end of the session.
"Oscar said to me he wanted to say a few words," Hiddink added.
"So I told him to take the podium and he apologised in front of the whole squad."
