RAY WILKINS believes Chelsea already have the striker they need in their squad - if only they give him the chance.

Ex-Chelsea coach reveals the one man Guus Hiddink must turn to for goals
Former Chelsea coach Ray Wilkins believes Bamford can provide the goals Chelsea need

have managed only 26 goals in the Premier League this season, compared to 44 at the same stage last campaign.
Diego Costa and Eden Hazard have failed to reach the heights of last year, but Wilkins believes the Blues must look inwards for the answer.
"I think they need another forward," Wilkins told Sky Sports.

"Loic Remy seems to be injured on numerous occasions and he's never available for selection.
"I look at Chelsea and Patrick Bamford, for example. When a side like Chelsea are playing to the ability that they have I'm sure you can throw a young man in and give him an opportunity to play.
"I'm sure Bamford, who scored 19 goals for Middlesbrough in the Championship last season, would score goals for Chelsea because he is a very bright human being."

Bamford recently terminated his loan spell at Crystal Palace after limited first-team chances, finding himself behind Marouane Chamakh and Connor Wickham in the pecking order.
But having left Palace under something of a cloud, the 22-year-old will now have to choose between attempting to win a place in the Chelsea side or going out on loan once again.
And Wilkins believes if he stays he could give Hiddink's side something different in the squad.

"OK, he's not the quickest but given the opportunities that Chelsea create I think he could score a goal," Wilkins added.
"Now, whether they let him back out on loan, I've no idea, but if they do then I think they have to strengthen."
