EVERTON are closing in on the signing of Lokomotiv Moscow striker Oumar Niasse.
Niasse has been linked with a move to the Premier League this month, with Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham all credited with an interest.
The Premier League trio are thought to have sent scouts to watch the 6ft 2in striker over the first-half of the season.
But - according to The Sun - Everton are poised to land the 25-year-old after making the first move for his services.
The Toffees have reportedly had a £13.5million bid accepted for the Senegal international and will now attempt to agree personal terms.
Roberto Martinez is keen to sign a striker before the January transfer window closes to prepare for the departure of Romelu Lukaku, who has been linked with a £65million move to United in the summer.
Niasse claimed the Russian Premier League's Player of the Year last season and has carried over his form with 13 goals and 10 assists so far this term.
