Alli scored a wonderful volleyed equaliser after Aaron Lennon had given Everton the lead and Barkley was hailed for his performance in an entertaining draw at Goodison Park.
"Ross gave the most mature performance he has had in three years," said Everton manager Martinez. "It was a joy to see so many English and British players in both sides with young ages with a lot of big roles in the game: Ross, John Stones, Deli Alli and Harry Kane.

"It is important they play in games like today. Some of experience is needed, but the talent is there for England."
Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino saw his side remain in fourth place, but said: "We dropped two points [but] the first half was fantastic, one of the best performances so far."
