NEWCASTLE have confirmed loan extensions for striker Adam Armstrong and midfielder Gael Bigirimana at Coventry.

Striker Armstrong, 18, who joined the League One outfit in the summer, has been in fine form this term with 16 goals to his name already.
While midfielder Bigirimana has featured five times for the Sky Blues since joining on an emergency loan deal in November.
The Magpies pair will now remain at the Ricoh Arena until the end of the season.
A club statement read: "Adam Armstrong and Gael Bigirimana have extended their loan deals at Coventry City until the end of the season.
"Armstrong will remain at the Ricoh Arena until Monday, 30th May, to include the play-off final, should the Sky Blues reach it.

"The England Under-19 international has been in prolific form, scoring 16 goals in 23 appearances to date.
"Bigirimana has seen the terms of his temporary deal with Coventry change under the extension.
"The 22-year-old joined last November on an emergency loan deal, but he has now been moved to a standard loan, which runs until Thursday, 30th June."
