MANCHESTER UNITED midfielder Liam Grimshaw has joined Preston North End on a two-and-a-half year deal.
The 20-year-old spent the first-half of the season on loan at Motherwell and made 16 appearances in the Scottish Premiership.
But he was recalled to United in order to complete his move to the Championship club.
Grimshaw, who can also play in defence, joined the Red Devils in 2002 aged just six and has represented England at Under-18 level.
