CHELSEA have announced Brazilian defender Wallace has joined Gremio on loan until June 2017.

The full-back, who is yet to make a first-team appearance for the club, had spent the first half of this season with Italian Serie A side Carpi.
But the loan has been cut short early and the 21-year-old has returned to his homeland on an 18-month loan.
Wallace joined Chelsea in January 2013 from Fluminense but was sent on loan to Inter Milan after being unable to obtain a work permit.
And last season, the Brazil under-20 international spent the campaign at Dutch club Vitesse Arnhem.
Wallace is one of 30 Chelsea players to have gone out on loan in the first half of this season.
