GARY CAHILL wants to quit struggling Chelsea because he is worried about his England prospects.

Chelsea's Gary Cahill eyes shock Stamford Bridge exit amid England concerns for Euro 2016
Gary Cahill has made just 12 Premier League appearances for Chelsea this term

The defender has not played in the Premier League since Boxing Day and, with John Stones and Chris Smalling, regulars for Everton and Manchester United respectively, pushing him for his place in Roy Hodgson's squad, the man who captained his country as recently as October is worried he may not even make the plane to France for Euro 2016.
A source close to Cahill said the 30-year-old considered himself to be "at the crossroads of his career" but with the transfer window closing on Monday, Chelsea are thought to be unwilling to be rushed into recruiting a replacement - and will tell the player to stay and fight for his place.
Chelsea are actively seeking the signing of 6ft 4in United States centre-back Matt Miazga from New York Red Bulls, with a Polish passport the key to avoiding falling foul of Greg Dyke's new tougher work permit proposals.

He has been given permission to leave the national team's current training camp to attend a medical in London ahead of a potential £2m move.
However, the 20-year-old is seen merely as a future investment and Cahill, who only signed a new four-year contract at Chelsea last month, will be told to provide the foundation to a more successful second half of the season at Stamford Bridge alongside Kurt Zouma and John Terry.
It has been a busy enough month for Hiddink, who has already waved Ramires off to China in a £20m-rising-to-£25m sale to Super League side Jiangsu Suning and yesterday he welcomed Alexandre Pato from Brazil.

The striker flew into Heathrow and had a medical before completing a six-month loan deal.
"I feel so happy, so happy - I stay here for my dream," he said. "Chelsea is my new home. Thanks Chelsea for the support. Thank you for my fans. I need to play. I am also very anxious. I want to know my new friends, new players, friends in the team. I'm really happy to play for Chelsea."
It is the second time the 26-year-old from Corinthians has tried to conquer Europe his previous five-year spell with AC Milan was troubled with injury but he still managed 51 goals in 117 Serie A appearances.
