The Chelsea striker limped off during the 3-3 draw with Everton after suffering a nasty looking injury.
He rolled off the pitch, slid back on, received attention and then went down again.
He came off for Loic Remy and Hiddink said he didn’t think it was too bad but admitted he was already being looked at by medics.
Hiddink said: “He’s in hospital now. They will have a check with a scan.
“He was in a lot of pain. We hope he is coming out with no problems.”
