Google is testing a new feature in its latest Chrome beta that should making throwing content from your laptop to your television much easier.
The latest version of the Chrome browser ditches the need for the Google Cast extension.
Instead, the latest version of the Google browser includes a built-in option which lets users send an entire webpage or online video to their television.
To begin Casting, simply right-click on any webpage and hit "Cast…". Previously Chromecast owners had to download a separate browser add-on before this functionality was possible

Fortunately it usually only takes six weeks for the beta upgrades to roll-out to the standard, stable Chrome browser.
Microsoft recently added support for Google's Chromecast in its redesigned, stream-lined Edge browser.
Google released its first Chromecast back in 2013.
The lightweight gadget plugs into any HDMI port and lets you beam content from compatible Android and iOS apps, as well as your Google Chrome browser window.

Unsurprisingly, Google has sold more than 20 million Chromecasts to date.
