Reports:

It was mild drama at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport today when officers of the DSS and EFCC arrested former Nigeria President Olusegun Obasanjo on his way to Switzerland to attend an owanbe party.

The former President who was said to be wearing a white Agbada with a pair of black (pure Ostrich leather) Shoes was arrested by the DSS officials and Hand cuffed immediately in the presence of a cheering crowd.

The drama at the scene of his arrest caused heavy pandemonium leading to cancellation of all scheduled International flights out of Nigeria as members of the International community could not believe their eyes.

Everyone was confused and people were asking how officers of EFCC and DSS can even think of arresting a whole former President of Nigeria.

Doesn't this action look like an attempt to equate a Nigerian god with common citizens?

As at time of filing this report, it was gathered that former Governor of Lagos State Asiwaju Bola Amed Tinubu was also arrested by officials of DSS at his residence no 26, Bourdilion road, Ikoyi Lagos.

In a statement released by the Senior Special Assistant on media and publicity to President Buhari, the following reasons were given for this unbelievable development.

1. The arrest is in response to petitions filled against both individuals by the opposition PDP. The petitioner alleged that Former president Olusegun Obasanjo was heavily involved in the Herlibuton bribery case and other cases of abuse of office. It was also alleged that the former president has an estimated net worth of about 570billion naira.

2. The petitioner alleged that Asiwaju Bola Tinubu converted Lagos State Govt to his private business empire. The man is estimated to be worth about N330 billion in cash and landed properties alone.

3. The arrest is proof of President Mohammadu Buhari's much acclaimed ZERO tolerance for corruption and his determination to fight corruption not minding who is involved..

4. It is a strong message to gullible and sceptical NIGERIANS who think and believe that the President is not fighting corruption but only witch hunting members of the PDP.
