WATFORD remain keen on signing Jerome Sinclair from Liverpool - despite reportedly having an initial bid for the player rejected.
The Hornets are thought to have made an offer for the 19-year-old that falls short of Liverpool's £3million valuation.
The Daily Telegraph claimed earlier this week that the striker was ready to quit Anfield.

And Watford manager Quique Sanchez Flores says he is hopeful of landing the former West Brom youth player.
“Sinclair is the kind of player I like for Watford," Flores said.
"He has the qualities that we need.
"He has the skill and conditions to come here.
“We managed really well in the transfer window, we are really calm, we have the players we need.”
Sinclair scored on his first Reds appearance of the season in their 2-2 FA Cup clash at Exeter earlier this month.
He made his debut in the Capital One Cup two seasons ago and had a brief stint on loan at Wigan last term before heading back to Merseyside for two games.
