Mohamed Elneny has reportedly arrived in London to complete his £7.4million move to Arsenal.

Elneny had a agreed a deal with the Gunners and passed a medical but saw red tape delay his switch.

But Sky Sports report the 23-year-old is in the capital today to sort the formalities of his four-and-a-half year contract with the Gunners.

Elneny is set to become Arsene Wenger's first January signing and hopes the deal goes through in time for the midfielder to face Stoke on Sunday.
 
Wenger believes Arsenal have pulled off a double swoop for two Nigerian wonderkids, according to reports.

The Daily Mirror report Wenger has had a £3million combined fee agreed with the Diamond Football Academy in Umuahia, Nigeria, for starlets Kelechi Nwakali and Samuel Chukwueze.

Manchester City and Bayern Munich are also keen on the pair who won the Under-17 World Cup in Chile in November.

Arsenal are reportedly set to offer Joel Campbell a new contract.

The Telegraph say Wenger has been impressed with the Costa Rica international's form this season and is willing to reward his with fresh terms.

It is added the Frenchman compares Campbell's performances this season to that of Francis Coquelin, who also benefited from injuries to break into the Arsenal side.
