Arsenal Player Ratings: Cech keeps Gunners top as Walcott and Ramsey disappoint
Petr Cech punches the ball clear when under pressure

Cech: Untested in the first half but made three crucial stops in the second to deny Stoke. Showed his class today - 8
Bellerin: Got forward well but was more cautious against the dangerous Arnautovic - 6
Mertesacker: Led the defence well after some poor individual displays in recent years at the Britannia - 6
Koscielny: A couple of sloppy passes but the Frenchman was his usual classy self - 6
Monreal: Got the better of Jon Walters, particularly at the back post where the Irishman is always dangerous - 6

Ramsey: Seemed to force the match too much at a ground where he has bad memories. Had to set the tempo for Arsenal in the absence of Mesut Ozil - 6
Flamini: Stayed disciplined in midfield, rarely straying too far forward. Did his job well - 6
Campbell: Arsenal's most creative player, slipping his team-mates through with some excellent passes - 7
Oxlade-Chamberlain: Tasked with supporting Olivier Giroud from a central area and forced Butland into a fine save in the first half. But another performance which left you wanting more from the Englishman - 6
Walcott: Seemed bemused to be taken off but the winger was poor today, offering little in attack - 5
Giroud: Denied a goal by two excellent saves from Butland. Found it tough against Stoke's physical centre-backs - 6
