Mesut Ozil was a notable absentee from Arsenal training at London Colney today as they prepared for their clash against Stoke.
The German, who was taken off in midweek after 86 minutes against Liverpool, was not pictured with his team-mates.
Earlier this month, manager Arsene Wenger admitted Ozil has been missing sessions in between matches to keep him fresh but the 27-year-old was rested against Sunderland in the FA Cup last weekend.
The Chilean handed Wenger a welcome boost with his reappearance and he could now make the match day squad for tomorrow's match after being out since the end of November.
Mohamed Elneny was also training with his new team-mates and could make his Premier League debut at the Britannia Stadium.
