Arsenal News: New signing’s first interview, midfielder offer, Sanchez’s return
William Carvalho is on Arsenal's radar

Mohamed Elneny has given his first interview since joining Arsenal.
The Egyptian completed a £7.4million switch to the Gunners yesterday, and has provided Arsene Wenger with cover for the injured Francis Coquelin.
Despite only just signing, Elneny has set his sights on winning the treble.
“I would like to tell [the fans] that, although you have not seen much of me, I promise I will contribute positively with the team,” Elneny told the club’s official website.

“I am hoping that we win the Premier League and cup this season, and the Champions League as well.”
Sporting Lisbon claim they are yet to formally receive an offer from Arsenal for William Carvalho.
The 23-year-old has been on the Gunners’ radar as they seek to strengthen their midfield.
Carvalho, who is thought to have a £35m release clause in his contract, saw a move fall through last summer after breaking his ankle.

Arsenal News: New signing’s first interview, midfielder offer, Sanchez’s return
Alexis Sanchez could play some part for Arsenal against Stoke

But Sporting president Bruno de Carvalho insists no formal bids have been made.
“(There are) no offers, nor do we need to sell,” the club's president said as quoted by Spanish paper Mundo Deportivo.
Arsene Wenger has confirmed Alexis Sanchez is in contention to be involved against Stoke on Sunday (4:15pm).
Sanchez has missed the Gunners’ last nine games with a hamstring injury he picked up against Norwich in November.

And Wenger admits he will have a better idea over the next couple of days as to whether or not he will be fit to play.
“He will have a definite test on Saturday. Friday and Saturday will be two important days for him," Wenger said.
"It is not impossible that he will be involved."
