ARSENAL reportedly sent scouts to watch Benfica's Goncalo Guedes in action last night.

Arsenal move closer to deal as scouts sent to watch £45m Benfica ace
Goncalo Guedes made his international debut in a 1-0 defeat to Russia in November

Guedes has been impressive for Benfica this term and has been tipped as the next Cristiano Ronaldo.
He became the youngest Portuguese goalscorer in the group stage of the Champions League in September and made his international debut for Portugal in a 1-0 defeat to Russia in Krasnodar in November.
And according to the Daily Mirror, reports in Portugal claim Arsenal sent scout Luis Boa Morte to watch Guedes in Benfica's 1-0 win in over Oriental Lisbon in the Portuguese cup.

However he didn't see much of the 19-year-old as he was hauled off at half-time at the Campo Engenheiro Carlos Salema.
Guedes has been on Benfica’s books since he was an eight-year-old schoolboy.
And his good form for Benfica this season saw him given a new contract, which includes a whopping £45million buy-out clause.
