AHMED MUSA’S agent has responded to interest in his client coming from England.
Premier League leaders Leicester are thought to have had a £15million bid rejected for the Nigeria captain earlier this week as CSKA Moscow hold out for at least £19m.
Foxes boss Claudio Ranieri has confirmed he wants to sign a new striker following the departure of Andrej Kramaric this month and has also been linked with AC Milan’s M’Baye Niang.
Manchester United have reportedly since joined the race for the 23-year-old’s signature as Louis van Gaal looks add more fire power to his squad this month.
The Red Devils have scored the least amount of goals in the Premier League’s top eight this season and are in danger of failing to qualify for the Champions League.
But the agent of Musa believes the pacey forward, who has 10 goals to his name this term, will remain at the Russian club as time is running out in the window.
"There is little time left in the transfer window," representative Tony Harris said. "We are waiting for developments.
“Sometimes the situation is changing in the last few hours. But Ahmed will most likely remain in Moscow.
"Playing in England is tempting for each player, and Musa is no exception. He would willingly go there. But it is necessary for his club to agree to the proposed terms.
"However, there is no urgency. Ahmed is happy in Moscow. But if there is a suitable offer, he would certainly consider it.
"I can only say that the interest is from a number of clubs, not just Leicester. Once a proposal is acceptable to all parties, we will consider it."
