WES MORGAN says there is no reason for his fearless Foxes to run for cover in the title race.
Tuesday's goalless draw with Manchester City capped off an unbelievable 2015 for Leicester. Their scintillating run of 19 wins out of 38 saw them engineer a miracle escape from relegation last season and finish the year second on goal difference to Arsenal.
And Morgan believes the City result stuck two fingers up at those who thought the Boxing Day defeat at Liverpool would be the start of the end for their season.
"There were a lot of people looking at the City game who might have thought we would have fallen off after being beaten," he said. "But we showed our character. The spotlight was on us and we wanted to bounce back with a positive display.
"We are showing how good we can be as a team. We have played everyone now and we have showed we are more than capable of playing up there with the best of them.
"It has been an incredible year, last season and now this one. We have something to be proud of. We have set a standard for ourselves that we want to maintain."
