Transfer News: Shock £10m Man Utd swoop, Arsenal's £33m bid, Chelsea target's huge deal
Manchester United are keen on Japan international Yoshinori Muto

Manchester United are lining up a £10million January swoop for Japan striker Yoshinori Muto, according to reports.

United have scored just 14 goals in their last 15 games as the pressure mounts on boss Louis van Gaal.

And the Daily Mirror report United have been watching Mainz hitman Muto and will make a move when the January transfer window opens next week.

It is claimed the 23-year-old is highly rated by former manager Sir Alex Ferguson, now on the board at Old Trafford.

Arsenal are reportedly set to launch a £33m bid for Sevilla star Grzegorz Krychowiak.

Arsene Wenger's title-chasing side have been hit with a midfield injury crisis with Francis Coquelin and Santi Cazorla, Jack Wilshere, Mikel Arteta and Tomas Rosicky all sidelined.

And The Sun claim Arsenal will move for Krychowiak, 25, in January to provide cover and are prepared to meet his release clause.

Leicester are ready to double Jamie Vardy's money in order to keep him away from Chelsea, according to reports.

Vardy has attracted interest from Chelsea and Tottenham after hitting 15 Premier League goals this season.

And the Daily Mirror report Leicester are determined to tie down Vardy, 28, by handing him a contract worth £80,000 a week at the King Power Stadium.

The England international signed a new £40,000-a-week deal last year.
