Romelu Lukaku reaches 50-goal milestone for Everton in Crystal Palace draw
Romelu Lukaku scored his 50th goal for the club in last night's draw with Crystal Palace
ROMELU LUKAKU continued his scoring streak to deny Crystal Palace, but warned Everton they need to be more ruthless if they are to realise their ambitions of qualifying for the Champions League.

The Belgium striker scored for the sixth successive game and claimed his 14th goal in all competitions in the 81st minute to cancel out Scott Dann’s header in the closing stages of a dramatic contest.
It was Lukaku’s 50th goal for the club on his 100th appearance and the 1-1 stalemate came with Everton having been denied by the woodwork three times.
“Obviously we felt we should have had three points,” said Lukaku. “We had a lot of chances, we were unlucky with the post, the cross-bar and they scored out of the blue.

“We reacted well and it shows great character in the team, but if we want to be in the top six, top four, in the league we need to be winning games like that.
“I’m proud of the landmark. But as a footballer I’m a team player and I want to win games. I’m proud but disappointed it didn’t bring three points.”

Scott Dann had given the Eagles the lead before the Belgian levelled for the hosts
Palace manager Alan Pardew, claimed his side were denied two penalties, with Gareth Barry having pulled the shirt of Mile Jedinak and substitute Jordon Mutch tumbling under a late challenge from Ramiro Funes Mori.
Dann had headed Palace into a 76th minute lead and Pardew said: “The pull on the shirt I thought was clear. The second one the guy has gone to ground and clipped Mutch in the box."
