AYOZE PEREZ has insisted he is happy at Newcastle as Manchester United and Spurs aim to lure him away from St James' Park.
The Spanish striker has been one of the few positive for the Toon Army in a tough start to the season.
Steve McClaren's side are second from bottom in the Premier League after eight defeats in the twelve games.
Perez has scored three goals this season and although United and Spurs are known to be admirers, the player appears keen to stay at the club.
"I am happy here," Perez said.
"I am playing and I am getting better.
"I cannot ask for anything else because I am happy here."
