MAURICIO POCHETTINO has warned off any potential suitors for Hugo Lloris by claiming he is at the heart of Tottenham's future plans.
The France international has been linked with Manchester United, and has made it no secret that the club were in for him.
"The interest of Manchester United? There could have been a development, but there was none," he said previously.
"Although much has been written I must stay focused, I feel very good and the transfer window does not upset me."
However despite the lure of a big move to Old Trafford, the Frenchman kept his composure for Spurs and has so far had a great season.
And Pochettino admits the 28-year-old is very much a part of his future plans for the club, hailing his performance after Tottenham's 1-1 draw with West Brom.
"I think it was a great save [from Olsson], I can say he is one of the best goalkeepers in the world. We are lucky he is at Tottenham with us," he said.
"There are always rumours about the players, but we want to keep him for the future, not only for the present.
"We want to build the next squad and the future with him. He is very happy with us."
