Toni Kroos has reportedly told his agent to get him a move |
TONI KROOS has asked his agent to secure him a move away from Real Madrid, according to reports.
The German international is understood to be frustrated at the Bernabeu, feeling he is not valued as a starting-XI player.
He was the only first-team member absent from the team's Christmas dinner, held on Wednesday evening at the Fox restaurant.
And according to Spanish TV show El Chiringuito, the midfielder gave his agent Volker Struth the nod after being left on the bench for Madrid's 1-0 defeat to Villarreal last Sunday.
Tensions ran high following the match, with Rafa Benitez saying bluntly: "He didn't play because Casemiro did."
However, former Real Madrid coach Bernd Schuster later slammed Benitez's decision, claiming he had 'thrown Kross under the bus'.
The news will come as a boost to a host of Europe's top clubs, including Manchester United and Arsenal - both of whom are claimed to be interested in the German.
The Mirror report United had a deal in place to sign Kroos before David Moyes' sacking in 2014, although a number of teams will have their heads turned by such a high-pedigree player.
Kroos has made 13 La Liga appearances this season but has failed to score a single goal but has four assists to his name.
