Manchester United board to consider January plans with concern over dressing room unrest
The Man United board are concerned by the dressing room unrest that may colour their transfer plans

MANCHESTER UNITED'S board members are becoming increasingly concerned with the state of morale at the club.

According to ESPN FC, the relationship between Louis van Gaal and the players is becoming increasingly strained over playing style.
And now senior figures at Old Trafford have weighed in over the Dutchman's strict managerial style.
The players are said to be becoming increasingly frustrated with Van Gaal's defensive football, and especially at the manager's lack of receptiveness to their own ideas.

The team are now under a microscope after a defeat to Wolfsburg which put them out of the Champions League, and a loss at Bournemouth which now leaves them without a win in five games.
The United hierarchy have always publicly stated their support for the current manager, who took over in the summer of 2014 from caretaker boss Ryan Giggs.

But sources inside the club insist this has never been a unanimous decision, and the board will meet before the end of the month to discuss any January spending money given to Van Gaal.
His future may also be a topic of conversation, as Pep Guardiola's refusal to confirm whether he will sign a new contract with Bayern Munich continues to create uncertainty at Old Trafford.
