Manchester United ace sends message to Old Trafford boo boys after West Ham stalemate
Smalling's defence have been almost impenetrable this season, but the attack have struggled
CHRIS SMALLING admits everyone at Manchester United is annoyed at their failure to beat West Ham after dominate the fixture.

Both Marouane Fellaini and Anthony Martial had gilt-edged chances to score, but in actual fact Mauro Zarate should have won the game for the visitors.
The Old Trafford faithful booed their players off the pitch after another dull 0-0 draw, but Smalling claims he understands how they feel.
"The fans are right to show their frustration," Smalling told MUTV.

"Everyone is down because it's an opportunity missed. It's so disappointing when you dominate a game. We're in a good position in the league, but it could have been boosted."
United had 21 shots at goal yesterday, but only one found the target, and had 63% possession, but were lucky not to lose as West Ham proved more incisive going forward.
However, the England international defender believes it is only a matter of time until the Red Devils start scoring again, given the number of opportunities they're making.

"It's not like we're not creating the chances," Smalling added.
"We could have easily had a few goals.

"If we keep creating chances, we're confident sooner rather than later they'll go in.
"When you dominate like we did [against West Ham], we should be taking the three points."
