MANCHESTER CITY have ruled out the possibility of signing Jamie Vardy or Neymar in January, according to reports.

Both Leicester striker Vardy and Barcelona talisman Neymar have been linked with moves to the the Etihad Stadium. 
Vardy is the Premier League's joint-top scorer with 15 goals and was rumoured to be lined up as support for Sergio Aguero, who has been sidelined at times this term after suffering four separate injuries.
 
It was believed City boss Manuel Pellegrini was lining up a move for the 28-year-old England international in the winter window. 
Vardy has also been linked with a , with reports claiming he could be new boss Guus Hiddink's first signing in January. 
 
But according to The Guardian, City are not looking at signing either Vardy or Neymar. 
Neymar has , but that has been dismissed by the club who think Neymar's aim is to seal a lucrative new deal at Barcelona. 
Neymar is a long-term target for Manchester United, who were apparently prepared to pay £240m in transfer fees and wages to land the Brazilian in the summer.
