Manchester United are lining up a deal for one of the world's biggest names to Old Trafford.
Louis van Gaal admitted that his side are not currently good enough to challenge for the Champions League after , this time at home to West Ham.
And despite having already spent more than £250million since arriving in the summer of 2014, according to the Mirror Van Gaal will be given yet more money in order to land Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale, Neymar, or a player of similar ilk.

"I don’t think that we are able to win the Champions League now," Van Gaal said.
“Maybe next year, when we strengthen our selection again, but now we have come as far as possible."

£50million bid for England striker

Harry Kane may be making a move north as the Red Devils weigh up a massive move for the England striker.
While Van Gaal and United's senior figures would prefer to sign a Ronaldo or a Bale, they see Kane as a more obtainable target , given Tottenham's smaller stature.

The prolific Chingford-born striker is not expected in Manchester until the summer at the earliest.
However, even a £50million bid, which United see as the price tag, may not be enough to persuade Spurs chairman to sell Daniel Levy.

Barcelona to beat Man United and Arsenal to Dybala

Barcelona are set to gazump both United and Arsenal and sign highly-rated Juventus Striker Paulo Dybala.

The Argentinian arrived in Italy at Palermo, having moved from his home club Instituto in 2012, but was then signed by Juve over the summer for nearly £30million.
And now Spanish giants Barcelona are eyeing a move for the 22-year-old, who has previously admitted it would be difficult to turn down any potential move.
