Bogdan - Making his Premier League first appearance in three years and he got off to the worst possible start when he dropped the ball from a Watford corner after three minutes. Seemed shaked by his mistake and never really recovered - 4

Clyne - Not his usual self going forward and was slack defensively - 5

Skrtel -  Bullied by Ighalo for Watford's second and then taken off with injury. An awful day for the Slovakian - 4

Sakho - Returned to the team after injury but was way off the pace. Couldn't handle Deeney and Ighalo. Was left prone on the floor on at least three occasions - 4

Moreno -  Defensively suspect and his end product in attack was lacking - 5

 

Lucas - Forced to drop into central defence after Skrtel's injury and found it tough against Watford's impressive strike duo - 5

Henderson - Forced to move to the right as Liverpool went in search of a comeback and had their best chance but was denied by a good Gomes save - 5

Can - Not his usual driving force in midfield. Lost out in the battle against Watson and Capoue - 5

Lallana - Technically excellent but still struggles to dominate matches and be the difference. Pretty but lacking substance - 5

Coutinho - Another player who failed to turn up at Vicarage Road. When he is not performing, Liverpool's attack goes AWOL - 5

Firmino - Difficult to remember what the Brazilan did today. A non-existent performance by the lone front man - 4
