LIVERPOOL are closing in on the signing of AC Milan goalkeeper Diego Lopez, according to reports in Italy.

The Reds are ready to make the move after the Serie A side put the 34-year-old up for sale.
Liverpool are looking for competition for Simon Mignolet after Adam Bogdan struggled against Watford just before Christmas.
Bogdan made a clanger for the opener on the way to the 3-0 defeat.
Jurgen Klopp has backed Simon Mignolet despite the criticism he's come in for wants him to sign a new deal at the club.
But that hasn't stopped him looking for reinforcements and Lopez would provide better competition for the Belgium keeper.
Lopez lost his place in the Milan side to 16-year-old Gianluigi Donnarumma and according to Calciomercato he could move to Liverpool in January.
