The Leicester manager will look to extend the Foxes' fantastic season at the expense of at Anfield, 12 months after he studied Klopp close up.
Klopp is suffering the first blip of his Anfield career after collecting just one point from their last three Premier League games.
Leicester, meanwhile, spent Christmas Day on top of the table after a stunning start to Ranieri's reign.
 
But the veteran Italian is backing the German to be a hit on Merseyside after picking up tips from the former Borussia Dortmund manager when Ranieri was out of work last winter.
"For me it's not important what a manager is doing in a little period, it's about the big period," said Ranieri.
"Over the German winter break Dortmund were in La Manga in Spain and I went there. I want to learn all the time.
 
"I watched Pep Guardiola at Bayern Munich and I watched Bayer Leverkusen last winter.
"It's a great experience, I want to see and I want to learn.
"The football is always the same, but if you have an open mind you learn.
 
"Dortmund were in a bad position but it was unbelievable as they played so well."
Ranieri has turned his career around in 2015 after being sacked from his job as Greece national manager in November 2014.
He has led Leicester to the Premier League summit with just one defeat from 17 games.
