JOSE MOURINHO has begged Roman Abramovich not to sack him.
Chelsea suffered their ninth defeat of the season at the KP Stadium.
They are now 14 points behind Manchester United and 20 behind leaders Leicester.
Mourinho has now admitted they have no chance of claiming a top four spot but still wants to finish in the top six.
"We can't finish top four, but we can still finish top six because so many teams are dropping points," he tells BBC Sport.
"But at the moment we're in a zone where I feel ashamed."
On his future he added: "I want to stay. I hope Mr Abramovich and the board want me to stay."
