Leicester striker Jamie Vardy having cryotherapy chamber sessions in bid to be fit for Swansea match |
JAMIE VARDY, nursing a series of injuries, is having sessions in Leicester's cryotherapy chamber which goes down to -135 degrees in a bid to equal the all-time top-flight scoring record.
Vardy faces a race against time to be ready for Saturday's clash with Swansea where he has the chance to match the mark of 12 goals set by Sheffield United's Jimmy Dunne during the 1931-32 season.
He has been nursing knocks to his hip and groin for weeks but now has a foot injury to contend with as well.
"It is absolutely freezing but it does help your recovery from injuries," he said.
