Jamie Roberts to join up with new club Harlequins after suffering an injury for Cambridge |
The 29-year-old Lion played down the extent of the injury after the 12-6 defeat for his Cambridge University side which extended their losing run against Oxford to a record six matches.
"It's only a dead leg but it got worse and worse as the first half went on. I couldn't run after half-time so I had to come off," said Roberts, who watched the second half from the bench with an ice pack strapped to his right thigh.
Roberts' opposite number Henry Lamont was taken off with concussion after attempting to tackle the 17st centre in the opening minute.
