I think Hazard is happy at Chelsea and there's no problem with Mourinho, claims brother

Thorgan Hazard believes his brother Eden has no problem with Jose Mourinho

EDEN HAZARD is "happy" at Chelsea, according to his brother, Thorgan.

 

The Belgian has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge in recent weeks with Real Madrid reportedly keen to lure him to the Bernabeu.

The Chelsea winger has struggled to hit the ground running this season, failing to score in 21 appearances in all competitions, that has seen Jose Mourinho drop him to the bench.

But the 24-year-old has shown glimpses of his performances that won him the PFA Player of the Year last season, with Mourinho stating his display in their 0-0 draw with Tottenham on the weekend was his best of the season.

 

And his brother Thorgan - who plays for Borussia Monchengladbach - has no reason to believe that Eden is unhappy at the Blues.

He told Omnisport: "Until now, he never said he was unhappy so I think he's happy. He's part of one of the best clubs in the world, he won many titles last year... this year it's a bit more difficult but it's football; every player, every club, goes through hard times.

"I think he's happy but you need to ask him, I can't answer for him.

"I think he already proved last year that [Mourinho] worked really well with Eden and Eden worked really well with Mourinho.

"I know that journalists like it when it's not going well - they are looking for problems - but I never heard there was a problem between Mourinho and Eden. If some journalists hear that there are problems, they hear it, but I never heard about it."
