GUUS HIDDINK has admitted he wants club legend Didier Drogba to be one of his assistants at Chelsea.
 
The 69-year-old, who was announced as the Blues interim manager until the end of the season yesterday, replaced Jose Mourinho who was sacked on Thursday.
The Dutchman watched the 3-1 win over Sunderland from the stands alongside Roman Abramovich and Drogba on Saturday, fuelling rumours the Ivorian could be set for a return to the club.
The Striker left Stamford Bridge at the end of last season to join MLS side Montreal Impact.
 
Despite Drogba still having a year left on his contract in the MLS, Hiddink admitted he wants the 37-year-old to be part of his team.
"I'd be happy to have him here," Hiddink said.
"At the moment he is still attached to his contract in Canada. But it is intended that he's involved."
Drogba scored 11 goals under Hiddink the during the Dutchman's first spell as Blues boss in 2009.
