DIDIER DROGBA has urged Guus Hiddink to bring Romelu Lukaku back to Stamford Bridge.
Lukaku made just ten league appearances for the Blues before joining Everton in 2014 - a decision he insists he made and not Jose Mourinho.
The Belgian has been in sensational form for the Toffees this season with 16 goals to his name as his side sit ninth in the Premier League table.
But Drogba, who is good friends with Lukaku, is hoping to see the forward in a Chelsea shirt once more.
The Daily Star claim the Ivorian has told Hiddink to make an offer for Lukaku.
The report suggests it would cost more than £32million for Everton to consider parting with their star man, who is contracted at Goodison Park until 2019.
Lukaku recently spoke about his relationship with Drogba and the admiration he has for the 38-year-old.
He said: “Didier is my idol and he knows it. I still speak to him.
“He gives me tips all the time. Me and Didier, we have had a really special relationship since day one.
“When I arrived at Chelsea they put me next to him in the dressing room, so that was when it started and I saw what a top professional he was.
“Perhaps the best thing I learnt from him was the determination to win.
“I text him, I phone him and say, ‘I did this today... this is going through my mind... how should I do it?’
“He knows what to say and what not to say. and that’s what I like about him.”
