Kurt Zouma fears Zlatan Ibrahimovic threat ahead of Champions League clash |
KURT ZOUMA is already worried about the prospect of facing Paris Saint-Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic after drawing the French side in the Champions League last 16.
Chelsea, who are enduring a torrid time in the Premier League, will face the Ligue 1 leaders in the knockout stages for the third year in succession.
PSG triumphed at the same stage last season and Jose Mourinho's club had the upper hand in the quarter-finals the previous year.
And Zouma, who faced PSG a number of times during his time at Saint-Etienne, is expecting a difficult night up against the 34-year-old Ibrahimovic.
“It is difficult to defend against him because he has the the physique of a big centre forward, a 'target man' as we say here in English football," he said of the Swedish striker.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic has already scored 16 goals for PSG this season |
"But on top of that, he is technical and quick like a small player. Few players have both of those qualities.
"So defenders are not used to that. You are pushed around, and as well, you get out-dribbled with finesse.”
